jev.fyi is a personal blog created and managed by Jevgeni Nikolajev. The purpose of this webpage is to share personal life accounts, amateur technical advice and opinion pieces.

In order to keep the resources needed for content moderation at a minimum, this blog does not keep open comment sections, therefore no personal user data can be collected from comment forms.

Who we share your data with

Upon the newsletter sign-up your email address will be shared with Hostinger in order to manage said newsletter’s delivery and maintain membership analytics.

How long we retain your data

For Bitcoin donations, no personal data except for your personal message input on the BTCPay server is retained. That said, remember to use a VPN for extra privacy.

The emails collected for the newsletter delivery will only be stored during the subscription period and for up to 3 months after cancelling the subscription, for analytics purposes – but you can reach out in order to have it removed earlier upon your request.

What rights you have over your data

If you have subscribed to the newsletter on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data held about you, including any other data you may have provided on this site. You can also request any personal data held to be erased. This does not include the data there’s an obligation to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
